@chris – Because of security concerns ( like others cloning Universal-SIM and selling it as original ) and also functionality issues, easy remote update etc… we have completely changed the communication protocol for OLD and NEW versions.
So you cannot update your OLD Universal-SIM to use the new software.
For our loyal customers we do offer reprogramming ( update ) service for a small fee as the underlying hardware is the same.
Please contact your local reseller to ask him about the procedure. You or him will have to send the old Universal-SIM to us. admin
